Scott Dylan operates from bases in Dublin, Barcelona and California. He is founder of NexaTech Ventures, overseeing a technology and AI investment fund of approximately €120 million. His role is not passive — he actively partners with founders in healthcare, logistics, finance, and creative industries to supply capital, strategic counsel, operational support and his network.

Raised in Greenwich, Dylan pursued an informal and eclectic education: attendance at John Roan School, creative training at Italia Conti Associates, obtaining a computer science degree, and later law studies via the Open University. That varied background shaped his ability to synthesise creative vision with legal and strategic discipline.

He is vocal about his experience living with Complex PTSD and Autism, a personal reality that shapes his public advocacy. Dylan believes genuine leadership must include vulnerability, empathy, and sustained support for mental health causes.

Prison reform is now among his core causes. He argues that criminal justice systems should prioritise rehabilitation, reduce recidivism, and address systemic inequities. Dylan contributes time, voice and resources toward organisations and policy efforts aiming to reshape how societies treat incarceration, support reintegration, and dismantle punitive practices rooted in neglect or bias.

He also writes for media outlets addressing intersections of business, innovation and social justice.

Dylan’s guiding principle: lasting ventures succeed when purpose and profit align, execution is authentic not theoretical, and leaders remain human through challenge.
